Traditii Maramuresene Association

     “TRADITII MARAMURESENE” Association is a unpatrimonial juridical person, nonpolitical and independent who was founded MAY 2007 according to decree's purview number 26/2000.

     The OBJECT of the Association is picking, conserving, capitalizing and transferring of traditions and material folklorik creations and spiritual of Romanian and of other ethnic group.
 
     The objective the Association proposes to accomplish it's object are:
  - picking and capitalizing folklore in formative object for children and young people
  - creating a propitious cadre to examination, picking and tansmission activity of traditions and folklore creations
  - establishing schooling and education institutions with an artistry and folklore creation (coreography, singing, instrumental music)
  - initiating and deployment of dance courses and traditional music, traditional instruments courses, plastic art courses (pottering, carved, engraving, modelling, etc)
this courses will be organized at all educational levels: preschool (kindergarten), elementary school, gymnasium, highschool, “after” highschool institutes, universities and  even a level for adults.
  - initiating and organizing conferences, professional preparation in folklorik traditions domain, symposiums, creation studios camps, exhibitions.
  - establishing folk music bands, instrumental groups, children, young people and adult folklorik ensemble
  - organizing shows, festival, competitions, local, regional, national and international tournaments in order to promote traditions and popular creations in country, and in foreign counties
  - issuancing books, specialty works, flyers as well as audio-video materials
  - making, confectioning and buying popular costumes, musical instruments, property elements, as well as other objects specifically to popular national and international art
direct contact with folklore bearer
  - internet connection in order to promote at the highest levels the Association purpose and activity
  - developing partnership programs with other Non-Governmental Organizations
any other compatible activities with the Association's purpose.

     Foundation members of “TRADITII MARAMURESENE” Association are: Alexandru Chioran – president, Amalia Chioran – vice-president and Mariana Muresan.
